Students are encouraged to participate in their school band or orchestra.  Healing Nations
provides group or private lessons and access to instruments as our funding allows.  Young musicians are
assisted with appropriate clothing for concerts if needed.  Developing music interest and skills builds
confidence and an enjoyment that can enjoyed for a lifetime!

Girls Club:
For many girls in our target area of west Modesto there are untold obstacles to the healthy development of
their emotional, physical, mental and spiritual well-being. We encourage girls to reach for
their God-given potential. Field trips and guest speakers enrich the lives of these special young ladies. In
depth mentoring takes place along with heartfelt prayer and Bible studies. Opportunities are offered to
experience the arts, nature, healthy life style choices and to develop confidence in the young woman God
created them to be. A meal and transportation are always provided.
Girls Club compliments our Cross Tracks and music programs. Many girls choose to be involved in as
many of our programs as possible.

Many of the young people that come to us are hungry.  All of our programs include a full, balanced meal or
a snack and a beverage.

All students are given the opportunity to participate in our CrossTracks program.  Cross
Tracks offers a safe, loving and encouraging environment for every young person.
Participants are 4th through 12th grade.  Children and youth attend age appropriate Bible classes,
participate in memory work and student led worship.  Transportation and dinner are provided at every
meeting.  And there’s always time for games and crafts too!

The mentoring program encompasses both one on one and group relationships with positive adult roles
models. Mentors guide young people through our tutoring program, providing resources and sound advice
Students need to know that someone cares about their well-being, challenges they may be facing and how
they are doing in school.  We strive to connect every child with someone that will listen to them and help
them know that they matter to God and to us.
